VPK CLASSROOM QUESTION
Nob Hill would like to know if it is ok to convert their VPK classroom. The VPK classes are in 1 large room divided by shelves. Ms. Ana wants to create 1 Dramatic play area on one side of the classroom for both classes and 1 Discovery area on the other side for both classes. The room will be covered by two teachers and two assistants would this change be ok?

If they are thinking about how they would socre on the ERS, the first Item they might want to consider is 1-3.2. With only shelves dividing the class groups, there would not be adequate sound absorbing materials. Would there be sufficient/enough/ample space for the 18 children and 2 staff in each group?
The other issue to consider is would they meet the one hour of accessibility for Level 3 and SPOD for Level 5 in Dramatic Play, Nature/Science and possibly Math/Number.
