A provider has asked the following questions posted for response:
(1) Will the portfolio/file box be returned to the provider once the Full rating has been determined and awarded?
(2) Since sheet protectors are no longer permitted, would the QIS staff prefer to have documents, such as staff qualification documentation to be stapled or paper clipped to avoid papers from being misplaced?
1. The portfolio is returned to the provider at the onsite visit. At that time, any unanswered questions are addressed and the provider is given the opportunity to provide additional documentation.
ReplyDelete2. Papers may be stapled to keep them together. A file box may be used in lieu of a binder.
3. Also, keep in mind that duplication of documents is not needed. Some providers, for example, have been including both the DCF transcript and certificates for the same classes. If items are covered in the parent handbook or the staff handbook, it is not necessary to include both the handbook and copies of specific pages. Just note the page number in the handbook where the information is located.
