7.1 states that convenient means that routine car funiture is located w/in the room and is easily accesible. Children's cubbies should be located in the room so that children have easy access to space for their belongings and work.
I have a center that is concerned. The children's cubbies are not located in the general classroom but ar located where they take nap. Will they receive credit for 7.1?

Nope. The idea is that preschool age children should be able to access their personal belongings when they want to. But, scoring a 6 is pretty good, if the children have access to the easel/sand table and corresponding materials!
