Adequate space

When this item is scored, do you count the number of children present at the time, the number that are currently enrolled to use that space, the maximum number that the center would be willing to enroll in that space, or the amount that licensing will allow in the space?

  1. In the 5 column, it is based on the maximum number that the center would be willing to enroll in that space. That is one of the questions we have to ask BEFORE we enter the room for an observation.
In the 1 and 3 column, "adequate" means for the children enrolled.
