Please provide clarification:
Level 2 asks for health and safety procedures under the personal policies. This is also asked for again under level 4 under written policies. Is it possible for a school to submit the same information for both levels? If not, please provide specific examples of what is expected for level 2 and level 4. Thanks.
I beleive Level Two is referring to items found in a staff manual, including Emergency/heatlh?safety procedrues for the staff to follow, like sick leave policies explained etc. Level 4 is for the program itself, like taking the First Aid CPR classes. I will ask Anita to confirm this interpretation.
ReplyDeleteLevel 2 does refer to a personnel policy and procedure manual, and health and safety is one of many suggested topics to be included. They need at least 8 of those suggested topics to get a 2 in program administration.
ReplyDeleteLevel 4 is written operating policies and procedures for the center. Health and safety is a requirement at level 4. If there are health and safety policies/procedures that are appropriate for both the personnel manual and the operating policies and procedures, then they can be used for both documents.
