Space between Cribs

If there is space between the cribs, is it possible for a teacher to place an unused piece of equipment, such as a bouncy seat, in between the cribs, until it is used? The idea is too create more more floor space while the children are awake.
Please provide the details as to where the clarification can be found in the "All About the ITERS-R" book.

I haven't been able to find anything in the All About ITERS that does not allow placing extra toys or furnishings between cribs. It actually encourages using solid barriers to separate cribs and nap mats or cots (see page 98). Just keep in mind that eventhough the ITERS allows cribs to be placed side-by-side if they have solid ends, the Broward County Ordinance still requires at least 18" between cribs. Teachers should also be diligent when supervising children who may be tempted to play with materials stored between or under cribs.
